Touring Windscreen - Clear This PUIG 2015W Touring Windscreen replaces parts from Memphis Shades and National Cycle and is perfect for replacement or a performance upgrade. .
Works ... but installing is more complex that it ought to be.
The screen is composed by 2 sections. A lower section that connects to the bike in place of the older screen and a higher section that connects to the lower section.
The part that connects directly to the bike installs with no issues (Just be careful to re-use the old components correctly. The part that connects to the lower section does that trough four plastic rods. These rods expand as the screws are rotated and by that expansion lock the upper section with the lower. The problem is that not all of them expand well enough to lock the top section. I had to buy an extra set to compensate for the one that was not locking well. (good thing now I have 3 spares).
No where near as much protection as the old Wunderlich Ergo. In standard position shoulders get a lot of buffeting and the top is too close to the rider, my helmet hit it several times ducking under branches etc. Have played with additional spacers to make it more upright and now it sends a blast of air directly at my eyes - I like to ride visor open on dirt but not with this screen.
Very disappointed.
