Common replacement part, but cheap plastic gears
This was a perfect replacement for the stepper motor (resistance motor brake tension) that went bad on our Proform - 510 EX - PFEL059112 elliptical machine. I am surprised that the little gears inside the motor box are all plastic. It seems like sooner or later this part will have to be replaced when the gears or gear stems snap. Part# 241949 is a common part number and used on many brands and models. I recommend attaching the part to the bracket and then re-attach the bolts that hold the bracket to the machine.

Fix a “no resistance” recumbent exercise bike
This easily replaced the old motor (just a different color) on my Freemotion 350 recumbent exercise bike. From everything I read, 10% was a console problem and 90% was the resistance motor. Great eddy motor. Fit perfectly in my nordic trak elliptical. Saved a 1000 dollar machine from the graveyard. One word of caution, If you put the lever arms on the spindle wrong, it will operate backwards. Simply switch the arms and it will operate correctly. Comon Problem with Elipticals
Worked perfectly. Make sure that you verify the part number since there are similar ones with different numbers. This is a 6 volt motor so you can test yours with a 9 volt battery momentarily connected to the Blue Yellow wires.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
