The atlases from this company show mountain names and creeks that other atlases don't. They even show the sources of creeks in rural mountainous areas that are accurate. Not even Google maps gives you the names of mountain ridges like you find in these atlases. Of course they also show roads, camp grounds, and lots of other detailed information. If you like to spend time outdoors in the wilderness this atlas definitely beats any other the others I've seen. It's hard to imagine how many man hours went into researching and compiling all of the information shown here.

Moving to a new area or just wanted to get lost on some new back roads, this altas is very helpful. It's not like the good old days type atlas but it is very good for modern day use. This map takes you where your GPS won't.
