These arms WORK ! EZ to install and align your car correctly with modern High perf specs!
Excellent arms! These will actually allow you to dial in just about any alignment specs. People don't know that 90% of the junk tubular arms on the market are just pretty looking cheap copies of the crappy backward alignment settings the bias ply tire cars had.
Be sure to add the extra long upper ball joints. Then use the ball joint spacers that come with these arms. No need for longer knuckles then. The ball joints and spacers help with Negative Camber gain.
The vintage 60's and early 70's cars had positive Camber and little if any Caster. And they had Positive Camber gain rather than Negative gain. That means when you need the Negative Camber the most under cornering when the suspension will compress the old cars throw mow positive on and the tire looses all grip.
ALL these issues MUST be corrected on the vintage cars, and these arms will do that if you understand how to align a car properly. You can dial in negative camber and a lot of positive caster. This creates some great handling, excellent steering response, and far better overall driving feel and less tire wear. You can watch the alignment specs change as you turn the adjusters by hand with the gauges on.
The entire object of aftermarket arms is to FIX the built in engineering issues on old cars and these will do that that and then some.
Being straight across rather than arched like SPC's other arms will not allow as much front suspension drop as the car raises under accelleration.. In most cases this is what you want. No need the strap the suspension of use long bump stops.
I've used these on many cars with AA++ results every time. You will see and fell the difference.
