This stuff lubricates my eyes better than any other eye drops I've ever used. I'm 60 years and I wear contacts. My eyes get really dry and my contacts feel super uncomfortable and scratchy sometimes. This stuff has some kind of oil or something in it instead of just saline. It is a milky color so it takes a few minutes to see clearly after I use it. That said, if you H A V E MGD (Excess Tear Production is one indication = your body's way of trying to compensate!!) get yourself to an ophthalmologist that has LipiFlow treatment equipment (I have NO relationship with that company!!) or your eye surfaces will scar up so badly as to make you functionally BLIND!!! ANY and ALL eyedrops are just a stop-gap measure; temporary treatment, albeit soothing for the time being.
