For a livre de grammaire, it is concise and to the point. The size is a reflection of that although I would have sacrificed a little of the size for more photos and dialogue! The chapters are divided into broad catagories: "la vie de tous les jours," "la famille et les amis," "la france d'autrefois..." The content is pretty relevant and activities are interactive. I would recommend it.
I like the format of the book and it's easy to read. The explanations are not that good. Overall, a good French grammar book, though. My other French book explained grammar terms better and was organized in a clear way.
Bought it for intermediate French. Like it because of the numerous exercises. Had a bit of trouble because the exercises didnt have examples.
I love this book because, this is what my daughter needed for college and it was more reasonable to buy the book this way rather than at the actual college.
