Awesome LP of classics from a master
This is a great LP for any guitarist or music lover to own. King’s early instrumentals help sculpt the soundscape of rock and roll. He was a massive singer as well, but there is something special about these brief instrumentals that were, I think, originally b-sides for 45s. Whatever the case, this new pressing sounds excellent. Let’s Hide Away and Dance Away with Freddie King is also a great album, though I have it only on CD presently. Love live The Texas Cannonball.
