The musical plays like an early vaudeville or variety show--captures the period of the late 1920's like a time capsule . Amazing dance numbers, novelty acts, comedy and songs---in early color---comprise this film. The extras are also a great bonus--on another disc. The restoration is painstaking and the print is gorgeous!
A fun film from the 1930s. Artistically beautiful, Historic.and entertaining. Spectacular dance numbers. Thankfully this film was preserved so that we can appreciate it today.
The restored 2 color Technicolor is beautiful. Eye catching!A vast improvement over the VHS tape version on "King Of Jazz. I also enjoyed the 2 Oswald Rabbit cartoons and the 2 shorts. Amazing! Gary Mattscheck
