Happy to get one of these. The blackout treatment is tastefully done. The Ion Plated stainless steel is Killer. The best part of the watch is the readability of the dial. This morning there was just barely any light in the bedroom and it was very easy to read, at just a glance. Just love the lollipop on the second hand, NICE The bezel works smoothly and precisely. Movement is keeping very good time (+/- 2 seconds/day). Using the clasp is a bit different than on other bracelets I have. After a week or so the routine is down pat. Lume is strong for about 15 min with the hands fading fast.

The 1953 model for me is just okay. It's still an automatic watch with a good quality movement for just over $100, so I can't complain too much I suppose. That said, my purchase had some imperfections in the bezel, and the alignment in the bezel with the face was slightly off. Not that you'd notice from a distance, but this would likely annoy any watch collector. The bezel also has some backplay. I actually like my pro diver better, except for the Invicta branding on the side of the case - the best thing about the 1953 is that they decided to leave that off. Not a terrible watch, but don't pay a #3-4X scalper price...

A stylish homage to the timeless elegance of the early Submariner. Powered by Seiko's NH-35A automatic movement. Looks great in black, simple printed dial and gold pencil hands. Very nice bezel action.

Nice homage to the original release of the R___x submariner with a finish never offered by the original manufacturer. The all-black IP finish is a nice touch giving it a very professional and sinister look. This 1953 version by Invicta has a very strong following and is currently out of production. It must be nice because people are willing to pay up to 3X the original offering price;
