Awesome machine
Hand to get some trees split. Did some by hand and felt I didn't have the time or strength to split them by hand. Handy tool.
Plan on building an elevated platform. Use common sense and this splitter will save a lot of the lighter splitting for you. Fun to use actually. Definite 7 ton limit, however. Save wood that's twisted, full of knots, etc. for the 24 ton machines.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Refurbished

Worth it!
Only thing I don’t like is how much hydraulic fluid(oil) it takes a d that’s expensive. It works well if you keep enough hydraulic fluid in it.
