This JBL product has remarkably good sound for an inexpensive headphone set. The cord attached is sturdy (very important!) but rather short. I purchased a 3.5 mm male to female extension cord to use with this headphone. The volume control is located on the earpiece, not inline with the cable like some gaming headsets. The ear cups are comfortable, but the spring on the top band is a bit stiff which can cause some issues for extended use. As with any good fitting headphone of this type. external noises are severely attenuated. I primarily use this to listen to music, I like that the microphone is detachable and separate from the headset, so if you don't use it, you don't need to have it in your face. I think that extended wearing for several hours would be a bit of a struggle because of the tight fit, so I would not recommend it for extending gaming, or as a headset for those who are telephonic customer service representatives. But it is great for listening to music!Read full review

The headset clamping force is too strong and creates uncomfortable pressure under the ears, and feel like blocking the blood flow, that makes them quite useless to me. It is quite surprising as there are so many good non-expensive designs. I guess JBG is off my list for future products.

Nice basic, no nonsense headset with handy microphone switch and earphone volume control. Comfortable and lightweight. Left side address cable is covered with fabric braid, but feels light duty. Excellent sound from microphone and earphones, rivaling more expensive models from other manufacturers. I purchased my set on sale - making it an exceptional bargain. So far, no "microphony" (sound in headphones from friction and vibration along cable) and no creaking along the headband. I have a Sennheiser set that does that! Moderate clamping force - just right so they will stay on without crushing my skull - but your mileage may vary. Inexpensive headset that sounds good both ways - mic and speakers - and very light weight. I can afford to pay more, but these are doing a good job for a good price. (For example, I also have the AudioTechnica BPHS-1 broadcast headset, and several models in between price points, so I am no stranger to these things!) Of course, this is just my take, your mileage may differ. TTRead full review
