My new favorite mug!
This thing is HUGE at 4" across. Filling it to about 1/2" from the rim gives me a full pint of tea! Perfect for lacing your fingers around on a cold day. The glaze is gorgeous, rich green with swipes of other colors, very smooth, lots of gloss. It's sturdy and difficult to tip over - I just gave it a shove on purpose and it moved, but didn't wobble. Lastly, it's dishwasher and microwave safe, so you needn't handle it with velvet gloves like a lot of artsy pottery. It keeps your drink warm longer than a smaller, thinner mug would, and if it cools you can pop it in the microwave. Perfect for someone like me who wants something attractive and functional to sip from all day long!
