Pleasant Surprise!
This unit was about $150 less than the "leading competitor". It is weather tight although we mounted it indoors. Some of the others cost more, and don't have the option of mounting outside without an expensive additional kit purchase. This one was an easy and straightforward installation. It took less than three hours to install. Gave it a test run once we hooked it up and everything seemed to work great. Haven't given it a real world test but I am confident that it will work fine. The Westinghouse 7500W generator seems to be perfectly compatible with it. The only negative is that the cord to the outside for the generator is kind of short. Another 12" or so would have made the installation even quicker. I was impressed with the quality of the unit(even though it IS made in China).

The unit was shipped quickly and was exactly as described. It was a very easy installation, the only thing i had to purchase was a few wire nuts. I would definitely recommend.

Transfer Switch
Product is good, but the exterior outlet box has it's bad points. One, the ko's do not remove easily and with the outlet on the bottom it makes it harder to put the plug in.
