Does it's job and easy to install
I put this on a traxxas ESC in my e-converted jato with the vxl-3s/3500 esc/motor combo. Seems to help with temps quite a bit and was easy to install. It just snaps on. I also geared down 1 tooth since my last bash session due to the esc going into limp mode after overheating a couple times in my previous session. I just ran it yesterday for an hour straight and it did well.

Traxxas VXL ESC Fan
Excellent addition to those wanting little extra effeciency out of their heatsink on their vxl 3s ESC and the best bit the vxl 3s comes with a plug for a fan ready to go. The Aussie heats tends to get into the components and stay there after some hard running and with a body with no airflow so why not have a fan to run some fresh air past the ESC heatsink. It has worked wonders on my stampede and ESC temps are a fair bit cooler. I do believe it is NOT water proof so that's a bit of a pain but it is generally cooler in wet conditions where I live so shouldn't be an issue removing the fan for a session. Overall cool little edition, keeps temps a bit lower, not waterproof but working well at the moment.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Esc was constantly overheating within 10-15 min on 3s without the fan installed. Now with the fan installed I can run my rustler for about 30-45 min without a problem and get full run time out of at least 1 or 2 batteries without over heating. Keeps it's Cool
Using a 2S Lipo 7600mah,75C/150C Burst in the Slash 4x4 Ultimate with stock pinion, bashing and speed runs for a total of 57 minutes and temp. testing around 12-15 minutes the ESC never was above 97 degrees. Outside temp was around 68-70 degrees. With a 3S 5200mah, 50C/100C Burst running under the same conditions for about 20+ minutes the ESC was at 103 degrees at it's highest reading during the 20+ minutes.
