Excellent fragrance. Tobacco with some gourmand and woody notes. It comes off as a little more mature/old but if that fits with your persona its great. A very long lasting scent that can carry you from dawn to dusk. I would alwaus recommend a sample first as certain notes may not agree with you. Little disappointed after having several from this house that were great and saying all the positive reviews. The smell is wonderful, but the projection and short-lived for about an hour, and after three to four hours to send his pretty much just on the skin, wish I had better performance it's such a great smell. Fantastic scent that just makes me smile each time I wear it!
I had a sample of Herod a few months ago and instantly enjoyed the scent. The combination of tobacco leaf (not ashy or cigarette type, but the leaf scent itself) along with cinammon and vanilla are just a perfect combination for me. This leans toward being a fall/winter scent, so I had to make sure I picked it up for this year's seasons. Parfums De Marley did Herod right! It’s a compliment machine. Probably better suited for fall/winter, but it is an intriguing tobacco scent and perfect in so many ways. The dry down is better than the opening in my opinion, so it gets better all day long!
