Great product what GM should have put into the Camaro's
As long as the ATF is at the correct level and its been verified by the proper GM method then install this and be assured that it will read the level accurately when at the proper operating temperature. I would suggest you check to see that the ATF is at proper levels using the GM service manual to check the level and install as well as mark the full level on the dipstick so you can accurately check the level each and every time. Depending on the model of Camaro you have you may need to relocate where the dip stick mounts on the fire wall other than that its a better option than the Janetty (sp)? dipstick tube that needs to be modified to the bell housing. Since this one conforms to the spaces there is no need for the bell housing to be modified so its just insert snake where you like it to be and mount. You may need to zip tie if close to the exhaust manifold to keep it away the heat of the exhaust manifold.
