Good replacement
This review is for the carb for the Honda GX240. I just bought the engine and the previous owner had let it sit out of doors for years. It would only run on full choke and then later would only run a few minutes before dying. I tried cleaning the old carb, but didn't fix the issue. I thought I'd risk buying one of these very inexpensive replacements vs OEM. Good choice! Carb replacement on these engines is very easy. Only took me about 20 mins. I used the included gaskets and kept using the original spacer (between carb and air cleaner. Now it starts on the first or second pull every time. It runs smoothly as it should. Only two issues; first is there is no sediment cup on this carb. Not really a problem, just different design than OEM. Second is that the fuel on/off switch is very tight. I feel like I'm going to break it every time I throw the switch, but so far so good. Would buy again.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Careful, not as pictured
The carb I received had a different choke mechanism than pictured. I had to disassemble choke of old and new, and transfer parts. this included pressing out the bushing that choke goes into. Took some time to do that correctly.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

I have a 240 concrete mixer motor with gear reduction
So I wanted to eliminate the gear reduction and used as a regular gokart engine but I cannot used like that. So I purchased this cover the fits perfectly fine. Only think i did from old cover , was taking the bearing out and used in the new cover with crank seal and good to go. I fully recommend it, for anyone the want it to do the same or not. Good deal.
I got this to replace the carb and gaskets but because it included so much other stuff,I paid the extra money.The good: had everything pictured.The bad:didn't come with the behind the carb gasket that holds the sparkplug cable from the magneto which cost me another $9. I installed this in kit in only about an hour.I didn't see any reason to replace the pull cord starter so I'll keep it as a spare.I didn't use the oil yet because I'd just changed it.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

The supplier is excellent to work with and was understanding that my problem may not be carburetor related. Good but different.
