You get what you pay for, it was cheap.
The rubber moulding on the plastic pieces was all wrong. It was curved to match the windshield, but in the opposite direction. This would have had me put the seal on UPSIDE DOWN, or trying to reshape the curve and that would have caused "puckering" of the seal. I ended up removing the original factory rubber seal from the broken factory part, and gluing it to the reproduction piece. This was an involved process using spray adhesive and a brush to apply. My final results were okay, but it took extra hardware to bolt the middle down, (it was standing up) and a estimated one hour job ended up taking about three. Buy this only if money is tight and time is plentiful.
It doesn't fit properly. Weather strip fell off because of poor adhesion to cowl vent. The only redeeming property of this thing is it was cheap. With a lot of fiddling you can make it work but if your time is valuable it may be cheaper to buy the Ford cowl vent. I recommend this item only to people who are handy, have time and are on a tight budget. Myself, I wish I would have gone with the genuine Ford part.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

You could drop the word hood in the title.
Hard to install. It fits well but does not stay in place with the new clips. Had to use the old ones and they are hard to get off the old piece and the old ones some were missing. Worth the money
I put this 2-piece cowl on my 2004 Mustang GT. It had the original 1-piece cowl on it which just disintegrated upon removal due to dry-rot. As others have said, you have to remove the 6 spring clips from the original and put them on this one because the clips that come with it are too narrow to grab the slots on the firewall. Overall not bad.
Fasteners are too large a diameter for the existing holes in metal support. Had to buy smaller ones. Rubber trim prices on each end had come off. Molding tape had failed. Ending up just leaving them off. Gap in middle where rubber trim poorly installed. Overall not bad.
