Works great but you need to set up correctly.
Make sure what ever device your setting this up with is not on a 5g network. You can return device to other network after setup. Make sure you name all devices in Alexa app Correctly I.e. living room or front light. Alexa will not work for socket if names don’t match. If you are setting up Alexa you must go into the Alexa app and turn on the skills option for the smart socket. It will set up automatically.

There are better on the market
It is well built and works. The led colors are fun but not necessary. You can NOT read by them. It is not that bright. This is a typical mini-plug size. It will block the other outlet. Because of this, I think there are better designs (square, elongated). They do not block the other outlet on the circuit from being used.
