Very Pleased, so far!!! I haven't had the battery for long (just received). At this point its working great in my HP2000 Laptop. No problem installing this battery it clicked right in. From what I see battery holds a charge for about 2 1/2 hrs., approximately. (Which is okay for me with my use). And, pleased with how fast this battery recharges. And, what a great price. "Ok" battery.
It's suppose to be new but it only last 1 hour 30 min. My four year old battery lasts 30 min. Only if you want an hour more of time that you can use on the laptop then you should buy this, but for the laptop that the battery matches is a home computer so you don't really need to purchase it because you will be at home with the charger. Didn’t close all the way down

Battery longevity
We purchased this battery because we thought our original was going bad. After installing the new one and charging it as required; we found that the charge on this new one did not last any longer than the old one. Bad Product
The battery did not charge at all. I even tried it in my wives computer which is an identical laptop and same thing. We doubled checked to make sure it was the correct battery. Good Value For Older Devices

DId not solve my problem
Current battery (several years old) stopped holding a charge for more than an hour. Ordered exact replacement (this product). It is not holding a charge either. So... either the battery is no good, or my laptop's charging mechanism has gone bad. Not going to spend any more time or money trying to figure it out. Doesn't even last 2 hours
For being a "genuine" and (I assumed) "new" battery the battery should last longer than 1 hr 45 minutes. Perhaps I was being naive given the price point but I really hoped for a new life for my old laptop.
