NIce easy to program when you take a real hard look at it. Got the software for the radio from danplanet.com. It made the whole thing a lot easier to program and put labels on each frequency that I programmed into it Not a problem so far and I have ben using the radio for a ham rig since I got it without any complaints about it. Have yet to put it on a network analyzer to check for signal purity yet. Am planning to do so later this week or whenever the new (Yippee!!) yellow one arrives here. All that radio needs is about another 125 channels and I would put it up against any of the other ones here except for any of my Motorola stuff. Oh! BTW, get rid of the rubber duck antenna and get one of the Nagoya antennas or one of the Abree military spec antennas instead. They do make a real difference in both signal quality and readability. 73Read full review
