Great grips, easy installation

Hogue Pistol Grip for Small Frame Taurus Revolvers, 85, 94, 941
I tried these grips on the 3 revolvers listed in the title and found them leaving something to be desired. The fit of the grips along the back strap leave an annoying ridge that is awkward in the palm of your hand. Since the grip is tightened to the frame from the bottom it leaves the upper portion of the grip "spongy" with the fit. While the product is very well made from the material aspect I do not care for the actual handling revolver with these grips. Very good with one reservation
This is a very comfortable grip with a single exception, the grip does not cover the back strap on a Taurus 605. On a .357 magnum, this would really be a great feature to help absorb recoil. Nice grip for Taurus 85
Easy grip to install and gave a much more level point of aim over the stock Taurus 85 grip. Allows for a full purchase on the gun which reduced muzzle-flip and improved my accuracy.. With the stock grip, there was considerably more muzzle-flip and it took longer to reacquire the target. I would have rated 5 stars, but the grip is still too wide to accommodate my speed loader. I had to remove a fair amount of grip material for my speed loader (HKS) to work quickly and properly.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Hogue for all my guns
I got one of these hogue grips for my new Taurus 605. The grip feels awesome, fits my pinkie finger now! The only complaints I see is about the install. I used a punch to remove the old pin. I placed my revolver (holstered not to scratch) on a couple of 2x4" blocks with a small gap between for the pin to slide through. Hit punch with hammer and it should slide out. To install new pin with mount bracket: I started by holding pin with needle nose pliers and hammered it in a little. I then finished pressing it through with vise grips, one jaw on the exposed pin and the other on the opposite side of the revolver handle place your needle nose pliers or a nut to let the pin slide all the way through as you squeeze to press through. Must Have Grips
This is THE must have grip for a small revolver. Without adding bulk or length, it allows (at least me) to get my pinky finger onto the bottom of the grip. A full grip on a small snubby 357 hand cannon really makes a difference. Easy enough to install, tight fit. These are great, if they fit......
I had these on a Taurus 85UL I owned in 2007, It had the older style rubber grip, before the bull head they use now. Anyway, these grips fit my old gun perfect. But, when I got a model of the same gun with the newer style grips in 2016, these grips no longer fit, the handle pin you need to reuse is much wider than the old ones, and the new grips can't fit over it, and you are supposed to reuse it. I wasted my money. I can grind the pin down, but why should I have to? It should work as stated. These are great when they do fit.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Much Better for the .357 Magnum Caliber
I have a Taurus 85 (38sp) and a 605 (.357 mag)…… The factory grips that come with both guns are nice a grippy and work well for shooting .38 specials. But if you are going to shoot .357 mag through your snub nose taurus, you need to switch to these grips…… Having a solid purchase with your pinky is a must for shooting magnum calibers…… If you want to hit your target that is.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Just the right size and comfortable
I wish I had changed out the stock grips for the Hogue grips years ago. The Hogue adds a little length so my hand fits more comfortably. The width is perfect to allow a good study hold for both single action and double action. The accuracy has improved.
