Would be awesome if it lasted a bit longer!
The only thing that really works about it is the fact that it is the correct size. Using it since April, it is already disintegrating badly. Wished i could get at least a full season out of it. Pretty poor quality material. It works really good at first, just does not have much longevity. Light-weight and has several small holes where you can drain any water that ends up on the top of the cover while trying to take it off. Works like a charm, sometimes I feel like it works too good the water gets SO WARM! Lighter and Easier to Manage
This version is much lighter than the ones we've had in the past, making it much easier to put in and to take out of the pool. One thing to keep in mind is that they don't tolerate the elements (i.e. direct sun, left out in the cold/high heat) very well, and break down into scales after a couple of years that'll scatter all around. Best to keep it in the water and then in the shade for longest useful life. If it starts to break down, you've got maybe one season left, so when you see those little blue discs floating in your pool, it's time to get a new one. The best investment you can make in your pool is this solar pool cover. It raised the temperature of the pool 20 degrees by the end of the first day use. It is light weight so easy for one person to put on and take off. But it stays in place once it is placed. In my area we have a lot of high winds. The pool cover that came with the pool did not last even two weeks before there was a large tear and did nothing to help raise the temperature of the water. This is a much better product and does a better job keeping bugs, dust etc. etc. out of the pool which equals less chemicals less time cleaning your pool less money out of pocket and more time enjoying your pool and time with your family.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
