    Fantastic cymbals cleaner !! #1 best !!

I have used pastes, moms “brass cleaner” and Groove juice.... this stuff cleans cymbals and makes them look fantastic new !! Spray on all but logos... let sit a few seconds and scrub with your fingers all except over logos... then right before you rinse it LIGHTLY RUN YOUR FINGERS OVER LOGOS AND RINSE WELL then towel dry and buff any where it needs it ... YES... it has a strong smell.... turn on a exhaust fan and pull your big boy panties up and get your cymbals to a respectable clean new look.... you’ll love this !! Because my kit was in the studio for about a year, even though I covered them with drum covers, the drums and cymbals still got dusty... I finally got to drag them home to the bathtub. CLEAN/ no finger prints which the oils in your hand prints collect dust and CHANGE the tone/sound of your cymbals. Been a drummer for 50+ years .... others might not like this .... OK.... BUY something else.... geez.....FANTASTIC CYMBALS CLEANER #1best !! ...no need for pics... a clean cymbal is a clean cymbal.!!

It was OK?...BUT...Beware of “White Film” after use.

I’m a drummer and percussionist with close to 40 years experience. I purchased G/J after hearing all of these great reviews online. I had some older K Custom and A Series Zildjans that I decided I wanted to polish after years of them getting more and more dull. Heard it was great at restoring older cymbals, so I bought some. A lot of the dark spots (old oxidized fingerprints and blotches, etc.) didn’t really come out (even after scrubbing with an old toothbrush as the directions suggested for tougher areas). I followed directions to the letter. Did it make “some” improvement? Yes. Overall, I’d say that it did clean up the cymbal a little better, but as far as it “polishing” them in addition to cleaning them...that’s debatable...despite YouTube videos of guys showing their “obviously” newer cymbals that (most likely) been cleaned with just about anything. The biggest frustration was the light, white “film” that was left on the cymbal after use. It was quite aggravating to get off, and eventually went back to my old, trusty method....good old fashioned “Brasso”. Interestingly enough, the product smelled amazingly similar to Apple Cider Vinegar that I too, use, on occasion, to clean severely tarnished and dirty cymbals I’m not bashing the product, as I do see it providing a purpose in certain scenarios. Overall, I give it a 3/5. Ultimately you are going to have to judge for yourself.

  • Kind of works

It kind of worked on my cymbals. I didn’t notice much of a difference to be honest. I tried different methods/duration/spot checking and I wasn’t that happy with it. What “does” work on cleaning cymbals is a product call Bar Keepers Friend. It’s inexpensive and really cleans the cymbals. Use it with very hot water for best results. This is just my experiences with both products.

  • The " Acidic Wonder"! Formally used to abrasive cleaners, I initially scoffed at at a non-abrasive. I'm working on cymbals not cleaned since '74!

Groove Juice gets to the heart of the matter! I HAVE TIME! So, working these Formula 602 was my experimental lab. These cymbals range from '74 to '79. Previous owners refused to clean them. I understand that. This took the," UGLY " off my cymbals!
