Great Find for 12 Volt Decorating Light Replacement Bulbs
Most incandescent string mini lights are lower voltage but a few short string sets like the old school Jack-o-lantern string I have, require 12v mini bulbs. I finally figured this out after trying to replace them with standard Christmas mini bulbs. They burnt out immediately. So far, bulbs have a 10/10 success rate - so far, so good! Recommended
I used these to replace numerous dead bulbs in my string of 50. The 2.5v bulbs are for sets of 50 (or 100 with two separate strings of 50 in them). All 10 of the first pack worked perfectly and appear to be good quality. NOTE: If you have a bulb or two out, replace them as soon as possible because when a bulb dies, it increases the voltage across the remaining bulbs and will cause them to fail prematurely, and in an increasing cascade of failure. When a bulb shorts, it activates a "shunt" that allows current to flow, keeping the rest of the bulbs lit, but at a slightly increased voltage.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
