Excellent pickup. Professional sound. Easy install.
I play 200+ gigs a year on the gulf coast. I mounted this in a Valley Arts Parlor guitar Brazilian Rosewood (no.5 of 5 made). Sounds great! I use the mix wheel between the humbucker and the mic a lot. First, there’s no volume on this so IMO you’ll need a volume pedal or something to mute it - Tuner, etc. The middle position on the selector wheel is a nice blend between the two pickups and i use that the most. I do use compression, boosts with mild overdrive to solo over loops i lay down. With my solos, I’ll put it on humbucker only. That setting is very feedback resistant. The humbucker does loose a little high end bite but the overall volume is a little louder than the 50/50 blend position so it makes up for the loss in high end sparkle. I never just use the mic position because it’d really wanna feedback too fast. This pickup sounds great on finger picking, strumming, and soloing.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
