Not a Good Fit
Unfortunately, this item was probably created long ago for commercial buildings, and it doesn't conform to most average home downspouts. This item is sold as being 2 in. x 3 in. x 3 in. The actual measurements are: 2 3/4X 3 3/4 x 3 3/4. This means when a homeowner puts it on their downspout there 3/4 in. gaps on each side as the homeowner's downspout it is actually 2in. x 3in. at its opening.
