Great lil functional kitchen helper
Love this funnel! Love the fact that it is a wide mouth (EASY to fill our canisters) and has a 'spout' neck that attaches by simply pushing it in place! Makes filling 'to go bottles' of whatever beverage/sauces we may need to have on hand. I was skeptical at 1st of the way it just slides onto the wide mouth, envisioning liquids spilling out from what I call the no seal connection as there's no rubber or 'threads'. Cautiously, I used it to fill a water bottle. Happy to say not one drop oozed out anywhere! Since my 1st timid try out, I'm happy to report we've filled up more than one bottle with dark liquids that would surely stain our good clothing. . all without one mishap! YAY!! I also love the fact that the metal is easy to clean, doesn't get stained from tomato based foods/sauces like plastic or rubber would, plus I can use it for even the hottest of liquids without fear of warping, misshaping or melting! Perfect for the job
I was looking for a stainless steel funnel to fill Mason jars with bone broth, wanted to get away from plastic. I found this one and was amazed there is something custom made for the job. The large spout fits perfectly into the opening of your typical canning jar. With the bottle attachment there can be some minor leakage at the connection if you overfill the funnel, but you have to really be pouring a large volume fast for that to happen.
