I was getting a P0138 code on my OBD II scanner showing high voltage from Bank 1 Sensor 2. I replaced this sensor, located on top of the exhaust after the catalytic converter. I has to use a short oxygen sensor socket for my ratchet. Difficulty on a scale of 1 to 10 with 10 being most difficult, I would rate it a 3. After replacing this sensor, I used the OBD II scanner to reset the error I was getting. I had to drive the vehicle for several days to acquire enough history to pass my emissions test. The history acquired by the vehicle computer needs a full history including prolonged highway driving, short low speed trips. Do not expect to replace the O2 sensor and jump to the testing station immediately as they will know that enough to history has not been acquired. Good luck.
