O/E Is Best...........This Time.
Usually I'm fine with buying a cheaper pattern part over the O/E part because more often than not they are plenty good enough and make the extra cost for original parts not worth it. On this occasion, just save yourself the hassle and buy the original. This is my 4th of of these. The first two were AC Delco Professional cables. These are supposedly one of the O/E suppliers of this part to Mopar. The plastic retainers at each end of the cable kept pulling through. I then tried a cheaper Doorman cable which worked until the cable opened up and started rusting after 8 weeks!! These three cables were also nearly an inch longer than original so the cables had extra strain on them at the bridge. So all that messing around and paying for return shipping later and I finally went with this Mopar cable which was a perfect fit and all the cable is coted so no rust. I wish I had just bought this one first.
