RSVP made this DIY easy!
I grew tired of thinking I had wire somewhere in the house or garage that would be an ideal fix for my marble cheese slicer. Anytime I looked for that hidden wire, I would get sidetracked. This simple fixer-upper just never got fixed. eBay to the rescue and the right auction was found. I had to shove aside my tightwad thought of: "I'm not paying $5.00 for 4 pieces of wire!" I realized that 5 bucks really was a bargain. It's not always about the money. That $5 got the EXACT product to me, and my slicer was fixed pronto! Easy Peasy! Plus three back up wires for the next time. I just hope like heck I'm not racking my brain with: "Where in the world is the RSVP wire backups?" Perfect Replacement Wire!
The wire broke in our Marble Cheese Slicer and these replacement wires fit perfectly. It took me a few minutes to figure out how to install the wire, but once I did, it made the slicer as good as new. Good to have spares, too, just in case we once again try to cut a very hard cheese and break the wire. Price of wires is more than the quality if worth.
