Designed for 1986 and earlier 262-400 cubic-inch Chevys, the Performer EPS dual-plane intake manifold is optimized to deliver superior performance with Edelbrock square-bore Performer Series or Thunder Series AVS carburetors. This small-block Chevy manifold has a runner design thats intunedin for peak torque at 3500 rpm on a 350-inch engine and its ideal for power from off-idle to 5500 rpm. Dyno tests showed gains of 5 hp and 9 ft-lbs. of torque over the Edelbrock Performer manifold No.2101 on a 350 Chevy. From 3000 to 4500 rpm, the increases averaged 5plus ft-lbs. of torque for more performance where you need it most. Performer EPS manifold No.2703 combines a modern runner design with a front mounted oil fill tube for those who want the vintage look of our Classic valve covers with no breathers. No.

this evens out the perfect biend of air/fuel mix,in return you get a faster responce of power and tork when needed,where as there conpeitiors are also rank equal in power rsponce,tork,price! they fail to mention the everyday tweek and peek to mantain these results.Edlbrock has low to no ajustments! my opinon is they are the best for your buck

always a great product from the edelbrock group
always a great product from the edelbrock group works killer on my 327. but to help futur buyers that plan to use aftermarket valve covers do yourself a solid and get the thick valve cover gasket edelbrock offers or the cover will hit the intake sides and not tighten down. found this out after trimming down the stamp steel valve covers i have and they still hit thick gasket installed does not hit.

Edelbrock manifold # 2701
When doing a hot rod I have always used the alum. manifolds. Because of the weight they are easy to get off an on. The quality & price is good. When looking at used manifolds (alum) at swap meets, you see tons of spread bores & others. Very hard to fine A Edelbrock 2701, why its a great manifold.

The intake is great and they do give you some gaskets but ,the gasket kit is not complete it does not com with the front and rear gasket that are usually made of cork i had to silicone it the gap is a little big hope it holds why give you only half a set of gaskets?
