Break Controller by Reese
I bought this break controller after a friend recommended I get a break controller for my camper trailer even though it was small but had breaks. He recommended I get one that had manual control and progressive breaking. Because I have a mid size pickup the break controller will help me save my trucks breaks and reduce the need for breaking. My truck did not have a towing package nor a plug to plug in a break controller so I had to install the controller wiring. I decided to install a 6 plug wiring harness. I watched a video on line then installed the controller. It was fairly easy I had the controller including running the wires to the new harness done in a couple of hours. 1 wire goes straight to the battery positive and another to the negative. Then another wire goes from the controller to the plug in the rear for the trailer breaks and one to the break wire on the peddle switch. Then you just hook up and set up the sink time and power to the breaks while driving. Considering the ease of set up and installation and the operation I would highly recommend this controller considering the good price point and fairly easy install to anyone needing a break controller.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
