Makes brake fluid changes easy
These work very nicely. Simple to bleed brakes with them. I suggest you check fitment with the Russell website, and then additionally check fitment on your vehicle as well. Back off your current bleeder screw just enough to see the thread type. This particular model 639580 is a coarse thread. According to Russell my 2001 2500HD called for a set of coarse thread and a set of fine thread, but actually both front and rear used the coarse thread (model 639580). They are a little expensive compared to a simple bleeder valve, but are very handy and makes maintenance easy. Also be aware not to over-tighten them when you are done, this is very common mistake. They come with a simple dust cap, seems to work fine.

Worked great. Makes things easy, less messy and speeds it up when alone. You need to let off the pedal fast for them to work, at least with an empty hydroboost system. SAE wrench size. Made in China. Package says they were revised a year prior to this review. I still like to do a final pressure bleed after a few drive cycles to ensure there isn't air trapped that may have worked it's way up to the bleeder, also because I feel there is a chance this design can let small amounts of air back in.
