Perfect for fingerstyle players, the concert body LS-TA has an ARE-treated, solid Engelmann spruce top with rosewood back and sides. Yamaha LS-TA Transacoustic Guitar. Electronics: SYSTEM70 TransAcoustic and SRT Piezo Pickup.
This guitar doesn't need the built-in reverb & chorus to sound great.....but they're a treat nonetheless. I was fascinated by the Acoustic Resonance Enhancement treatment (simulating aging) on this spruce top, since I've got an original FG-180 that I got new, and the sound has improved over 50 years. It sounds beautiful! All around quality build, as you'd expect from Yamaha. Particularly good for fingerpickers.
This guitar sounds like no other guitar...awesome tone and sound....
I always thought the Martin D-45 was the Holy Grail in guitars (I have one) ....not any more...
This TransAcoustic gives my girlfriend goose bumps when I play it...it has a concert hall sound that is difficult to describe...you just have to buy an LS-TA yourself for $1000 and then you don't have to plunk down $10,000 for a D-45.
