Easy Purchase
I'm a woman in my early 50's and it took less than 5 minutes to install both sides. True mopar parts all I did was pull the broken ones out , then I plugged in the new ones, put a little silicone around each one of them then pushed in until it clicked into place. Good part, but different color from the original on my Chrysler 2012 Town & Country.
This is the wrong version of the part for my 2012 Chrysler Town & Country. In 2012, there were three model levels; the basic level had body-colored mirrors and the other two had chrome-colored mirrors. The chrome mirrors have a chrome-colored version of this part with vertical striations. The body-colored mirrors had a clear plastic version (the one sold here) with horizontal striations. The part is high quality, and the mounting is identical to the original, but the exterior size is larger (it protrudes farther from the mirror) and the color is different and the differences are detectable to a critical eye looking from the front of the car. It works fine, and if the other one breaks I'll buy another like this so at least the two sides match.
