  • Nice book, but over rated

When I think of a 'cottage', I think of a sweet, small home, nestled in the hillside, of a enchanting town. Most of the homes in this book were huge. The photos were lovely, but most looked like they belonged in a resort or a fancy lodge. The last chapter has some sweet cottages, that had a few fun ways to repurpose items not meant for what they were now used for. There were also a few beautifully painted pieces in the 'cottage' rooms. As a picture book it's great. As a decor book, not so much.
