Good price - works well - loose collar
The only complaint I would make about this collar is that the strap has a tendency to come loose. When this happens, the collar will fall off of the dog and good luck finding it. What I did was to put a stitch in one end of the strap to keep it from sliding out of the adjustment slide. That means that I would have to cut the stitch if I ever needed to adjust the collar. But since I am not sharing this collar between my dogs, each dog gets his or her own collar with a cut-to-size strap. Another solution would be to sew velcro to the ends of the strap so that it could be adjusted. The device delivers a shock that is not to painful, but does get the dog's attention. It has stopped my big dog from barking at the cat, but before the girl dogs learned to stop barking at the neighbors, the battery ran down. So I have bought replacement batteries and I will keep up the training.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Some utility, but...
It was a great price and it has some utility, but you get what you pay for. Sensitivity needs to be set near the maximum setting (5 out of 6) in order for it to work at all. Every time my dog shakes his head he gets a warning tone. It also can’t distinguish between dog 1 and dog 2 (we have two labs, with the puppy needing to learn that random barking is not acceptable), but thankfully for dog 2 (wearing the collar), dog 1 does not bark very often. Batteries don’t last very long, so buy them in bulk here on eBay. I’ve had better success teaching dogs not to bark with a manual shock collar, but I can’t be there monitoring the barking all the time. So the collar seems to have helped reduce the barking, which maybe makes it worth the cost.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

I purchased two collars for different sized dogs. I had to set them differently for each dog, but they are extremely effective. As soon as they start to bark and get the warning they settle down. I've had to readjust the setting for the larger dog once and it now works perfectly. This is an extremely good no-bark collar for the price, and I am extremely pleased with my purchase, especially in light of the lack of success I have had in purchasing other collars. Should have bought this MONTHS ago.
I have two small dogs who have (HAD) a tendency to feed off each others energy. Not quite sure what they would bark at or what got them going, but it literally took under 24 hours with these collars for them to stop completely. My plan now is to remove the collars after 2 weeks, and hopefully be done with it. The collars were Easy to place on them and the instructions were very user friendly. I highly recommend. Don't use the highest setting.
This device does work and has stopped my dog's barking by at least 90% but don't use the highest setting. The highest setting will make it beep and shock when you dog goes to shake water off itself. The battery is tiny. It looks like a midget AA. I'm not too sure how long that will last. I've never seen a battery like it so I don't even know if I would be able to find another one when the one that came with it goes dead. It will work with stopping your dogs barking though. Great bark collar at Great Price!
I have had great work out of this bark collar, has done the job on getting my dog to stop barking! I love how it will vibrate and beep first before it shocks. It gives the dog time to stop and think! I love also that you can set it for the power you need. Can be use on different dogs with different levels. And most it's the greatest on the price that's out there! beeping collar not shock - also unreliable sensor
I had bought a shock collar for one of my three dogs that worked well so I wanted to get colors for the other two to prevent them from barking at each other in the morning. I wanted to try a less expensive collar and found these. These just beep not shock. This doesn't deter my dog from barking at all that's why I purchased something that said shock not beep . Also the sensor on the thing is totaly unbredictable I will literally have the collar not on any of the dogs sitting on the coffee table and one of my dogs will bark down the hallway and it goes off ihave had it go off on one dog (thats not barking) when the other dog barks. Small enough for little dogs and works great!

Doesn't function correctly
I do not recommend this collar. We purchased two of these one month ago and have problems with both. The buckle pops open too easily. twice in the last two weeks I have found one laying around as one of our Corgis has managed to get it off while playing with our other dogs. The other collar has popped off somewhere and is lost in the yard under the snow. It is inconsistent. sometimes it goes off when our dog shakes his head or when I put dog food in his metal bowl or even when another dog standing by him barks. Frequently it does not go off at all when he barks. But the worst thing is that twice we have heard the beep sound ring constant with out stopping. It sounds like a smoke detector going off in another room and it doesn't stop until you take the battery out. The first time it happened I thought it was a fluke and cleaned the area in case something had gotten in the battery casement. When I put the battery back in all was well.
