Hazerdous, item broke after 6 months!

Works backwards
Installed this switch on my ‘07 Honda CB900F Hornet Motorcycle and it works backwards meaning after installation the brake light glows bright when front brake lever is NOT engaged and it glows dim and brake lever is engaged.
