cheap portable threader
This machine is exactly what it claims to be, it is a cheap portable pipe threader. It is the only one of its size I have found. It can be carried with one hand. The next closest is the ridgid unit which is a 2 handed carry for 3 times the price. I have used it for approx 5 years threading primarily 1" pipe. It is not quiet but it sounds the same as any threader I have used for the past 40 years. The dies will fail almost immediately but better quality dies are readily available. After 5 years the only problem I have is the oil pump failed. Even if I have to buy a new machine this one has paid for itself.
