The Marianna carrier is soft but a little hard on the upper back. It does not have as much support as a Ergo baby carrier. My baby does like it better though. I think it is because of the individual pouch. The one thing that concerns me, is it is hard to bend over to pick something up without feeling like she is going to fall out!!! With four children under 5 I need to be able to bend over.
