The charger works fine for my Fast Charging capable Samsung GS7, but the cable's coiling makes it too short to really be the "perfect" charger. When it's coiled (and the cable is pretty substantial), it's only about a foot and a half long...and it resists stretching out pretty well, so plan on mounting your device close to it (but close to you also). For the price they're asking in stores, it's not a good value; the price I paid was FAR less though, so I won't complain there. If it was to be "perfect", it would need to be a foot longer when coiled up, and a bit easier to stretch straight so you can use the device that's plugged in without leaning down toward your power socket. As for charging a second device while using it, I have not tried yet, but the open USB port does make this more versatile than some other options you may find.Read full review

Works great. Only issue is that the cord is on the short side for the Dodge minivan we have since the outlet it plugs into is close to the floor. If I had the purchase to do over, I would not buy this charger because of the short cord (for my minivan). YMMV depending on the type of car you have.

The cord is heavy duty which is a great thing. Not like those flimsy other chargers, But, even though the cord is coiled, the thickness makes extending it very difficult. It basically stretched about a foot... Maybe over time it will loosen up. Having the extra USB charging port is awesome
