The Precision Router Table Insert Plate measures 3/8" x 9 1/4" x 11 3/4" to support even the biggest routers, and it features Kreg's new Level-Loc Reducing Rings. These rings twist into place and lock in flush with the plate surface every time. Three Level-Loc rings are included: 1", 1 3/16" (for use with Porter-Cable style guide bushings), and 2 1/8". More Level-Loc ring sizes are available in a set of 5 (sold separately). The plate also has laser-engraved markings on.

A Huge Step Up!
Bought this to replace a Skil RAS900 router table that could've killed or maimed me. Was routing a groove in a piece of maple when the plate holding the router came loose and the router dropped out, wiping out the surround, the insert and chewing up a nice piece of maple and ripping 2 screws out of the router's base plate when it hit the ground. Luckily, the router, still running, dropped off the back of the table and my fingers or other appendages weren't in its path. The perfect excuse for buying the Kreg. The Kreg solved all the problems I was having with the Skil . Where the Skil wobbled on its plastic foundation, the Kreg is solid as a rock. Tthe fence system which other have complained about, works great. It just has to be properly adjusted. Assembly took an afternoon. If you've ever put together an Erector set, it'll be a breeze. The only fiddley part is drilling the plate to mount the router. Take your time and measure 5 times. Routing with the table is smooth and accurate. And if you follow the instructions (which I didn't and wasted an hour making sawdust) you can do pretty decent jointing with it. Only complaint is having to buy the full set of rings that weren't included. They're totally necessary and cost extra. Also I went on eBay and found the Kreg safety switch that mounts on the table leg. Wouldn't want to use the table without one. This is a great router table for someone, like me, who doesn't have the space for a permanent installation. Highly recommended as are all Kreg products.

Too Difficult to Assemble
I'm working on a project and had two people who typically assemble items like this for me try and do it with no success. I looked at the instructions and they're very poor, worse than IKEA's. So now I'll have to assemble it myself.
