It covers a large area and provides fast, quality pictures and video.The Moultrie Panoramic 8 MP Game Camera can detect game throughout a 150-degree field of view, which is triple that of many other trail cameras. It operates by three passive infrared motion sensors that can detect both heat and movement. These sensors are triggered when an animal approaches within 45 feet. This Moultrie model has a couple of stealthy features that allow it to photograph animals without spooking them. The Silent-Slide lens rotates into position in almost complete silence when the sensors are triggered. In low light, the Low-Glow flash can illuminate a target up to 100 feet away while being almost undetectable to the animal. The unit has a trigger speed of less than one second. You can set a motion detect delay interval to take effect after each picture. This saves battery life and prevents the useless capture of image after image of the same animals during a short interval. There are eight delay settings available that range from five seconds to 60 minutes.Five operational modes let you choose how you want the Moultrie camera to function. The Panoramic Mode captures one image to the left, one at the center, and one to the right, and then it stitches them together into one wide view. The Multi-Shot setting lets you get two or three pictures of the same spot in rapid succession. For one “regular” picture, you can choose the Single Image setting. Time Lapse lets you capture long, continuous shots over a period from one to four hours. The last mode is the Hybrid setting, which allows triggering by both the passive infrared sensor and the Time-Lapse program. For taking photos at night, this camera uses an Illumi-Night sensor for clear images. It also has a Motion Freeze option to decrease blur and give you sharper pictures. These cameras can also take day and night HD video. There are four levels of photo resolution and two levels of video resolution. All settings are made on the easy-to-use LCD display, and the camera can be set up for password protection. It can accept an SD memory card and requires six C batteries. All of these features are packed into a durable case covered in weatherproof plastic. The case has a quarter-inch tripod mount and a nylon strap, and it is camouflaged with the Mossy Oak Treestand pattern. It has a hasp that is compatible with Python locks for extra security. Great Camera
I love the 150 picture view It takes great daytime pictures and great night time pictures as well night time pictures are clear out to 100 ft. and maybe a little farther and clear enough to tell if it is a buck or doe. I love having one camera that would take the place having three cameras doing the same thing. The battery life is ok, may take two sets for one season. I had the p-150i and it would burn up a set 6 Duracell in just one week Moultrie replaced that one thee time and each time the same thing so they replaced it with there P-180i. This camera took great daytime pictures but it was a waste time and batteries on night time pictures. The pictures were like looking through a black tube and you couldn't even tell what it was unless it was within 15 ft. I was skeptic at first about some reviews i read about the panoramic 150 and problems reading SD card, but decided to buy anyways and give it a try. Glad i did its top of the line product,takes great pictures and videos,the panoramic mode is a bonus .
