Replacement for older LEER fiberglass tonneau cover
Easy to install, worked great. I had bought a used cap that had the old key snapped off inside the tumbler so this was a replacement. The only hiccup was that the tab part that swivels when the key is turned was shorter than the original one, so it would not engage where it needed to for the button to unlock. I had to swap the old tab part onto the new and it worked fine. I was glad I had the old part. I was happy with this lock kit overall.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Keep the old lock
Excellent lock, however the tab on the inside was too short to engage the release arms on the canopy. Had to reuse the old tab. Not a big deal unless you make the mistake of throwing away the old lock. Picture shows the silver tab that came with the new lock now mounted on the old. I painted the old one red which is the only one that works with is configuration.

Great Replacement for Leer 700 Tonneau Cover Lock
The #81522 lock was a near perfect replacement for my Leer 700 tonneau cover lock. I did have to swap the old lock cylinder tang onto the new lock cylinder and then file the old tangs' inside square to enlarge it a very small amount, as others have reported, so it would fit over the new lock cylinder square, a 5 minute job.
