Best for the price
I just got finished installing it, I was a little leery that my detector was only able to click on to the last slot on the mount because of the windshield angle. Used this for Escort 9500ix. Sticks well to the windshield and holds the detector firm.
No more fumbling around with the suction cups that pop off the windshield now and then. I cleaned the area well with Glass Plus then carefully positioned the bracket where I wanted it. My 9500ix fits it without problems. Just slide the detector on to the bracket with the detector button pressed until it stops, then release the button and move the detector forward and back until it clicks. Good Radar Detector holder that won't fall down.
Fits my Passport 8500. No more sucktion cups falling down. Also lets me place the detector high on the windshield making it stealth to prying eyes. Test Fit location first with detector installed. Clean windshield with Alcohol. Use a Sharpie and mark location. Remove detector from bracket. Pull red liner, and aim carefully to match your previous marked location. Press and hold against the glass for 30 seconds. Done!

Simple and trouble free solution.
I've ordered a couple of these mounts in the past, and rather than attempt to remove the mount when the windshield requires replacement I would sooner order a new unit with the same 3M sticky pad. Simple & It Works
