It pays to buy quality.
I got a new av receiver and had purchased another brand of speakers, in fact two other brands and was not happy with them. I figured a third set should be the charm and was much more than I expected. The highs are perfect and the lows are lower. I don't have a perfect ear but definitely a noticeable difference from the lessor expensive brands. The extra speakers I purchased were given to my kids and they are happy.
