Does the job
It has modes that wind clockwise, counter clockwise and bi-directional. It has four speed settings and an off switch so you don't have to unplug it when not in use. It is quiet, producing only a slight hum when it winds, but loud enough to wake a very light sleeper if placed on a night stand two feet away (you'd have to be a really light sleeper though). At eight feet I can't hear it at all. I've been using it for about two months and no problems. Works well with my Seiko diver's watch.
