  • nice kit - easy to set up and put away

really easy to set up and put away and looks like it will last - and protect the door frame. Bought for my son (14) who wants to develop his arm strength. Downside is he is not tall enough to reach the top bar without support or climb up. He was tempted to use bottom bar but I've stopped that. I'm still glad I got this over the others as I can see the potential for him to swing on the bar and others may have come off the frame.

  • Look no further..

This is a very useful pull up bar. Takes no time at all to fit on the door and stays in place securely. Can be stored anywhere as it gets flat. Doesn't put too much downward pressure due to its design and so far hasn't left any noticeable marks anywhere on the door frame. It has been used quite a bit.

  • Excellent.

This is excellent. Very easy to fit, and a clever design that relies on the weight of the user to keep it secure. Packs away flat to be stored in a small space somewhere. Exactly what I wanted.

  • Exactly what i wanted for my home gym

Needed a chin up bar but seeing as i'm in a rented top floor apartment with no brick walls there was no where to mount one. I considered the in frame permanently mounted ones, but then i found this and it's great! Doesn't require any screws, folds away, and the bars sits much higher than the 'usual' home bars allowing even me; a 6"2 fella to do chin ups from a standing position. It's wide enough to do wide grip pull ups and even on what looks like a fairly flimsy door frame of mine, there's no creaks or signs of weakness. Very happy with it. It's nice to find something so innovative and well made!

  • Great investment!!

I shopped around quite a bit when looking for a pull-up bar and chose this one. I'm very happy with my choice. So simple to fit, very secure when fitted properly, folds away nicely for storage. Fits a standard doorway and is a good height. would recommend storing when not using, as I've had a couple of mishaps of forgetting it was on the doorframe and going to close a door and it falling down. It's quite heavy and would do real damage if it hit your head, or worse to a child. Overall a great and innovative product.

  • Great design

Superb chin bar that is strong, light and stows away flat.

  • Strong and versatile pull up bar

The main benefits of this bar over other pull up bars is: 1. you can fold it up flat when not using it so it takes up much less room than other bars 2. the bar itself is one solid bar, viz, its not separated into 2 sections and held together in the middle by a pin like other bars 3. it requires no assembly at all 4. the bar is higher than most bars, being up at the top of the door frame, as shown in the picture. This makes it better for doing proper pull ups since you are fully suspended in the air rather than having to pick your feet up to keep them off of the ground. 5. Leading on from 4 above, the height of the bar means you can use it with gravity boots. I have a pair of Teeter hang up boots and I have suspended from the bar many times by the gravity boots - word of warning though, make sure you tie a rope/belt from the bar to help pull yourself up with or you could be stuck there dangling from the bar unable to pull yourself back up, viz, it could be potentially dangerous (or should I say fatal). Downsides: 1. No foam grip on the bar at all means your hands will get a bit sore after prolonged use unless you use gloves 2. The two thin support bars and hooks which attach the bar to the door frame look rather thin, would prefer to have had thicker ones and also one long attachment interface rather than just the two small hooks which attach on above the frame.
