Let's talk "pinpoint sighting".
Yup, there are likely hundreds of red dot sights out there. Some cost more than the rifle they sit upon. Some cost less than a trip to the local burger joint with a friend. Point is, with so many how do you choose? What's the best bang for the buck? Well here's what I've found. The ADE Crusader 8 is a remarkable unit. 1. Big and solid. [Won't vibrate apart] 2. Supurb optics. Clear and sharp. 3. Red & Green, with 5 power levels and 8 reticles. 6 are quite useful and two are obviously intended as a novelty. 4. A rechargeable battery system in place. Very useful indeed. UBS standard from power source and a dedicated power input cable. Impressive. 5. Solid 1MOA sight adjustments. Fast on target. 6. Perfect quick attachment base that places the sight right at 2.5" above bore center on an AR style weapon. No adapter or spacers needed. In the past few years, several "dots" have come and gone. Its a little bigger than most. Weighs about half a pound. But then which is stronger, a twig or a limb? The caseing is strong and solid. The lens well protected. The holographic projection device is well encased as well. This solid construction, combined with excellent visual design, lends me to believe that the search is over for a dot sight. Excellent red / green. For the price. I like the fact that has rechargeable battery capability. Also I like the that it has multiple images, brightness and green and red. Nice that its quick release . Seems very rugged and well-constructed. Little bit large but other than that a nice optic.

Nice Reflex Sight
Nice sturdy sight performs well. Rachet works good and holds securely. Holds zero just fine on my AR15 9MM Carbine. I would not hesitate to mount it on a 556/223 or 7.62x39. Push button on/off works well. Overall nice sight for the $$ really probably worth more than the price.
